Kennesaw State University Sports Stadium and Sports Park hosted the inaugural Magnetic Music Festival outside of Atlanta, GA on April 20, 2013.

Despite threats of rain, Spring Fling took place on April 19 on Union Green. Carnival rides, free food, and art workshops were among the festivities provided by Oglesby Union.

Immediately following The Last GD Show€, the final show for the art department’s graduating BFA class, they threw an invite-only unicorn party for themselves and friends of the program. The party took place at Railroad Square, Friday, April 12, 2013.

Though not the best day for the ‘Noles, the ladies did their best and ended up with a few good hits. The Seminole softball team had an unfortunate loss against the rival Florida Gators 8-0 Wednesday night April 17, 2013.

Starting pitcher Peter Miller and the Seminoles blanked South Alabama on Tuesday evening at Dick Howser Stadium. Though Florida State only scored twice in the contest, it was one run more than they needed to improve to 31-6 on the season. FSU travels to UVA this weekend for a three-game series.

The President’s Ice Cream Social was held at Landis Green on April 16, 2013. Hundreds of students along with FSU administration had the chance to dance, play games, and bounce around an inflatable obstacle course.

The Florida State Seminoles took to Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday, April 13th for the annual Spring Football Game in which the Gold team defeated the Garnet team 40-24.

The first day of the Seminole Invitational track meet took place at the Florida State track complex on Friday, April 12. Athletes competed in high jump and discus earlier in the day.
